01. Each entrant is allowed to submit a maximum of 4 (FOUR) colour and/or black and white photographic prints per categories.
02. All prints should be UNMOUNTED and not smaller than 15” x 10” or longer than 20” x 16”. The smallest side should not be less than 10” and the longest side should not be more than 20”.
03. Each print must bear the name, address, telephone no. of the entrant together with the title of the photograph. These details should be on the reverse of the print and should tally with the entries in the Entry Form.
04. Submitted prints should be BORDER LESS and should not contain any name, title or any other information on the front side.
05.Each entrant should submit a CD of their photographs at 72 dpi.
06. DIGITALLY MANIPULATED photographs will not be accepted. Normal corrective measures like “SPOTTING” and/or “CONTRAST CONTROL” will not be considered as Digital Manipulation.
07. Photographs of CULTIVATED FLORA, CAPTIVE ANIMALS/BIRDS and LANDSCAPES with HUMAN FIGURE and/or MAN MADE OBJECTS will not be accepted
08. Photographs of nesting bird are not allowed.
09. Photographs previously exhibited at JAVINLA exhibition will not be accepted.
10. Entry Fee: A non-refundable entry fee (See Above) per entrant should be sent by Cash/Demand Draft together with the entry. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “JADAVPUR VIVEKNAGAR NATURE LOVERS’ ASSOCIATION”. Please do not send cash by post/courier. Entry fee can be paid in cash only when the entry is being hand-delivered.
11. Entries can be sent by post/courier or can be hand-delivered as appropriate to the addresses mentioned below.
12. Entries which do not confirm to the rules and regulations are subject to disqualification.
13. Prints must be packed properly in sturdy envelopes with cardboard or similar inserts to ensure that there is no damage in transit. While all possible care will be taken for the entries, no liability will be accepted for loss or damage and no claim or compensation in any form will entertained by the organizers.
14. Judges’ Panel includes experienced and renowned photographers and scientists in the fields of environment and nature. It is open to Judges to recommend withholding of any award. Decision of the Judges will be final and binding.
15. Unless otherwise specified the organizer reserves the rights to reproduce any of the entries in the press and brochure without payment in any form.
16. Actual postage fee should be sent with the entry fee for return of entries by post/courier.
